Hoquiam Ward 6 Council Position filled

Last night, in Mayor Durney's absence, the Hoquiam City council had their regular meeting and filled the Ward 6 vacancy, left open when Kendall Miller resigned at the end of February.

Two Ward 6 residents sent in letters of interest,

Bessie Stone, a 1998 Hoquiam High School graduate who works at a local bank. Her focus is on new business
Jennifer Anderson you may already know, she ran apposed to Mayor Jack Durney in the last election, her focus is on community involvement.

but in the end, there could be only one;


   

Bessie Stone was elected 7 to 4 as the second seat on Ward 6, for Hoquiam City Council .
